Friends of the DS CEN

Friends of the DS CEN: Although the Down Syndrome CEN is one of RCSLTs CENs for speech and language therapists, we are really keen to work with non-speech and language professionals to develop this group. Therefore, anyone can register as a non-speech and language professional member and become a Friend of the Down Syndrome CEN which is free of charge. We particularly encourage parents and professionals working with children and adults who have Down syndrome (including OTs, teachers, Teaching Assistants and those coordinating local groups) to join. This membership includes regular updates from the Down Syndrome CEN following meetings and study days. Information about training, support and opportunities including information on research projects, will be shared via newsletters and via the website. We will also hold online meetings to hear from you re SLT experiences and how we can work with you to improve these for children and adults who have Down syndrome
